Damilag Elementary School was established way back in the year 1949-1970 as a primary school. The opening of Grade IV-VI in 1970 changed Damilag Primary School to Damilag Elementary School. In 2017 through the insistence of the barangay council to open a secondary school, the school was then approved as an integrated school that caters from Grade 7 and Grade 10 students from the twenty (23) puroks of barangay Damilag.
